A cascade of international and national awards

A veritable cascade of awards have been bestowed on Col Vetoraz sparkling wines, major players in the international and national wine arena.

The Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze DOCG and Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG Extra Dry won places in the '5 Star Wines' Award Sparkling category sponsored by the Vinitaly International Wine Competition, voted by a committee composed of seventy international judges, including Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers and journalists from around the world.

In addition, receiving the Gold Medal Diploma were the 2015 vintages of Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG Spumante Cartizze Dry, Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Dry, Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG Spumante Brut, Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG Spumante Dry Millesimato, and Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG Spumante Brut Dosaggio Zero, all awarded at the Pramaggiore DOCG Wines National Competition, as part of the Pramaggiore Exhibition.

All these awards simply testify to and reinforce the image of this producer as a highly-respected representative and interpreter of an exceptional growing area, which, when appropriately respected and protected by its winegrowers, can yield truly world-class wines.
