MWF 2016: the Michele D'Innella Award goes to Luciano Pignataro

Col Vetoraz will be on stage at the 2016 edition of the Merano Wine Festival in an unusual role: from 4th to 8th November the winery will attend the prestigious event, conceived by Helmuth Köcher, toghether with the best of national and international wine production, in collaboration with the Vinibuoni Guide of Italy, whose 2017 edition will be officially presented during the festival.

Col Vetoraz has been selected to deliver the Michele D'Innella Award for the best Italian wine bloggers category, to Luciano Pignataro. His blog www.lucianopignataro.it represents a constructive and serious communication about Italian food and wine culture, especially in the south of Italy.

<It’s for us a real honor – comments the winemaker Loris Dall’Acqua – to join the company's name to that of a recognized and respected signature of the food and wine national journalism; we do believe that endless passion for their own work, tenacity and even sacrifice are essential cornerstones to get quality wines, just like the contents of a news item.>

In Merano this year there will be one more reason to toast. Sparkling wines Col Vetoraz selected for tasting will be the Valdobbiadene DOCG Superiore di Cartizze, a velvety wine with a great concentration of aromas, which features the delicate scent of flowers and ripe fruit mix, and the Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Millesimato dry, an elegant, fruity wine with floral notes, round and lightweight aroma.

The Michele d’Innella Award will be delivered to Luciano Pignataro on Saturday November 5th during the press presentation of Vinibuoni Guide of Italy at the Teatro Puccini in Merano.
