Tasting Tours

Col Vetoraz Educational Tasting Tours are guided tours for guests who wish to gain a deeper understanding of Valdobbiadene DOCG, our land and our pursuit of excellence. Each tour helps guests read the wines with greater awareness: from perlage and aromas to balance on the palate, and then to the connection with the hills of Valdobbiadene and the Cartizze area.

Guests must book the tours in advance. They can also purchase them online.

In the Col Vetoraz reception room, guests can purchase the wines available in the different formats, even without booking a Tasting Tour.

Guests who wish to choose one or more bottles can enjoy a short introductory tasting of the wines. In this case, our staff presents the different expressions of Valdobbiadene DOCG in an essential and accessible way, so that each guest can make a more informed choice. However, this short tasting remains separate from the Educational Tasting Tours. Booking is appreciated.

The Col Vetoraz reception room overlooks the Cartizze hills from a privileged position. Therefore, guests can experience Valdobbiadene DOCG within the landscape from which it originates.

Even for those of us who work and live every day on this hilltop, arriving at the winery offers ever-changing impressions. The light of the seasons, the profile of the vineyards, the lush vegetation and the depth of the hills make every visit unique.

Since 2015, the new reception room has allowed us to share this emotion with our guests. Here, they can taste our wines, observe the territory and gain a closer understanding of the Col Vetoraz identity.

Events and Meeting Room

The new Events Room sits on the first floor and offers a panoramic view through its large windows. It welcomes groups and companies for meetings, business gatherings, presentations, training courses and, on request, coffee breaks and business lunches.

The room seats 50 people and offers modern technology: large screen, projector with HDMI / VGA / RCA / sVideo connection, microphones, DVD player and Wi-Fi internet connection.

Do I need to book the Tasting Tours?

Yes. Guests take part in Col Vetoraz Tasting Tours by reservation only, so that we can ensure attentive hospitality and a guided tour.

How many people can take part in a Tasting Tour?

Each Tasting Tour welcomes from 1 to 20 participants.

How long does a Tasting Tour last?

The tour lasts approximately 60–75 minutes, depending on the option selected.

Are the Tasting Tours suitable for guests with no specialist knowledge?

Yes. We guide every guest in a clear and engaging way, even without any technical wine knowledge. The aim is to offer a deeper understanding of Valdobbiadene DOCG, the Col Vetoraz style and its bond with the territory.

Can minors take part in the Tasting Tours?

No. Only guests aged 18 and over can take part in the Tasting Tours.

Is it important to arrive on time?

Yes. We kindly ask you to respect the time indicated when booking. In case of a delay of more than 15 minutes, we cannot guarantee the full Tasting Tour.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Yes. You can change or cancel your booking at least 48 hours before the scheduled date by contacting us by email or phone. After this deadline, we cannot refund the amount paid.

Can I report allergies or intolerances?

Yes. Please let us know in advance about any food allergies or intolerances, especially if the selected Tasting Tour includes food pairings.

Can I purchase wines after the tour?

Yes. Guests can purchase the available Col Vetoraz wines directly from the reception room, in the different formats offered.

Can I purchase wines in the reception room without booking a Tasting Tour?

Yes. The Col Vetoraz reception room also welcomes guests who wish to purchase wines directly at the winery. In this case, our staff can guide guests through a short introductory tasting, designed to help with their choice. However, this tasting remains separate from the Educational Tasting Tours.

Can I receive an invoice for the Tasting Tour?

Yes. After the online purchase of the Tasting Tour, we send an invoice to all customers, whether companies or private individuals.

Can I give a Tasting Tour as a gift?

Yes. Col Vetoraz Gift Vouchers suit those who wish to give an experience connected to wine, the territory and the discovery of Valdobbiadene DOCG.

What can I purchase with Gift Vouchers?

Col Vetoraz Gift Vouchers can be used to:

purchase Tastings and Educational Tasting Tours online through the Bookeo platform;
purchase Col Vetoraz wines directly from the winery reception room.

However, they cannot be used for the online shop.

How long are Gift Vouchers valid for?

Gift Vouchers remain valid for 6 months from the date of issue. They are non-refundable and cannot be converted into cash.
