Col Vetoraz project combining wine and art awaits you until September with a new exhibition in the company’s Welcome Room: the sculptures of Elena Ortica, an artist of Milanese origin but based in Treviso, where she now lives and works.
he works chosen for the exhibition are mainly female-themed and are divided into three groups. The collection of ‘Cincie’, six female figures with rounded shapes that recall the graceful liveliness and vibrant movements of the titmouse, often combined with spherical glass elements that emphasise their lightness. The heads from ‘The Colours of Life’ collection representing a gallery of ethnicities through the different faces of women, and the two portraits called ‘Bacchus’ chosen as a tribute to the wine industry.
Ortica likes to express himself through a figurative language that searches for and digs an inner essence in the form, goes beyond the wrapping and reaches the soul and the experience of the expressions, in order to return the deepest sense of the person. Contradictions, limitations and aspirations emerge with a highly communicative language that creates an immediate correspondence with the viewer of his works.
“Just as an artist who knows and respects the starting material that he moulds to express himself,” explains Loris Dall’Acqua, managing director and winemaker of Col Vetoraz, “so we, season after season, follow with love, care and listening the evolution of our raw material, from the earth to the goblet, with a constant act of defence of our origins. Only in this way the wine we obtain can keep that harmony, balance and elegance that are the key to its pleasantness.”
We invite you to enjoy this exciting new experience by joining us at the highest point of the denomination, for an unforgettable 5-sense immersion among different expressions of excellence: the Valdobbiadene DOCG territory, Col Vetoraz sparkling wines and works of art.
