Two prestigious competitions, two important results for Col Vetoraz, with the Valdobbiadene DOCG Superiore di Cartizze 2025 taking centre stage.
Confirming the path of quality that has always defined Col Vetoraz wines, the winery has received major recognition both at EnoConegliano, the 28th Regional Wine Competition “Selezione dei Vini Veneti” and in the regional selections of the Vinibuoni d’Italia 2027 Guide.
Premio Speciale Tullio De Rosa at EnoConegliano
During the 28th edition of EnoConegliano, Col Vetoraz received the Premio Speciale Tullio De Rosa for the Valdobbiadene DOCG Superiore di Cartizze 2025.
This award is assigned to the sparkling wine that achieves the highest overall score in the competition, provided it exceeds the minimum threshold of 85 points according to the evaluation method of the Union Internationale des Oenologues.
It is a result of particular value, rewarding one of the most distinctive expressions of the Valdobbiadene territory and confirming the role of Superiore di Cartizze within the Col Vetoraz quality journey.
Also at EnoConegliano, the Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Brut Cuvée 5 2025 received the Premio Sigillo d’Argento in the Brut Nature, Extra Brut and Brut category.
All the other wines presented by the winery also received the Diploma di Merito:
- Valdobbiadene DOCG Millesimato Dry Coste di Mezzodì 2025
- Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Brut Cuvée Ø 2025
- Valdobbiadene DOCG Brut Coste di Levante 2025
- Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Dry Cuvée 13 2025
- Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Dry Coste di Ponente 2025
A collective recognition that highlights the stylistic consistency of the range and Col Vetoraz’s ability to interpret different expressions of Valdobbiadene DOCG with balance, elegance and precision.
The Corona of Vinibuoni d’Italia 2027
This important result is joined by a further recognition obtained in the regional selections of the Vinibuoni d’Italia 2027 Guide.
The Valdobbiadene DOCG Superiore di Cartizze 2025 has been awarded the Corona, a distinction assigned by the regional coordinators to the finest Italian wine expressions.
This result will allow the wine to take part in the national finals and compete for a place in the Guide’s TOP 300. The finalist wines will be tasted by the three national editors of the Guide: Mario Busso, Alessandro Brizi and Alessandro Scorsone.
For Col Vetoraz, the Corona represents a further confirmation of the value of the Superiore di Cartizze 2025 and of the deep bond between wine, territory and corporate identity.
A path of quality born from the territory
The awards received at EnoConegliano and Vinibuoni d’Italia confirm the care with which Col Vetoraz interprets every harvest, every selection and every detail of production.
At the heart of this vision remains Valdobbiadene DOCG, with its hills, its exposures and its vocation for finesse. It is from this balance between territory, experience and oenological sensitivity that Col Vetoraz sparkling wines are born: wines capable of expressing origin, style and continuity.
The Superiore di Cartizze 2025, awarded in both competitions, thus becomes the symbol of a journey that brings together elegance, authenticity and a constant pursuit of quality.
