The common thread of the Terra d’Arte project—the successful initiative launched by Col Vetoraz in 2022 to unite wine and art—continues to evolve, fostering a virtuous dialogue between two forms of excellence: the works of local artists and Valdobbiadene DOCG. This partnership has consistently resonated with visitors, enhancing their experience through a meaningful encounter between culture and territory.
The latest addition features three new female-inspired installations by Pordenone-based artist Arianna Gasperina, known as Arya. With this new exhibition, she returns to Col Vetoraz’s hospitality room for a four-month display, opening the door to her creative world and offering beauty enriched with profound messages.
The life-size wooden sculptures each bear an evocative name that conveys a deep, symbolic message: Rinascita (“Rebirth”), L’Ascolto nella Cura (“Listening Through Care”), and Respiro d’Anima (“Breath of the Soul”).
REBIRTH, carved from Swiss pine and standing 100 cm tall, symbolizes transcendence and the ability to evolve—detaching from the stickiness of a shallow, empty society that often suffocates and flattens us, leaving little room to move. Rinascita is thus a passage of liberation, guiding us back to our essence.
LISTENING THROUGH CARE, crafted from Lebanon cedar and measuring 154 cm in height, evokes a steady gaze that embraces life with great attentiveness. It speaks to the urgency and importance of slowing down to fully feel the life that surrounds us. It’s a call to listen—to care for the Earth as the source of all life—and to respect and nurture nature, animals, and fellow human beings.
BREATH OF THE SOUL , also in pigment-enhanced Lebanon cedar, 100 cm tall, portrays a point of connection: a breath, a luminous gaze—the soul’s expression of being, rich with depth, fullness, and emptiness, like smiles and tears. From these emotional contrasts, we find the path to rebuild ourselves.
These three pieces beautifully demonstrate the profound connection between art and wine, grounded in a shared, tangible foundation: raw material.
“As an artist understands, respects, and shapes their raw material into works that express their identity,” explains Loris Dall’Acqua, CEO and Head Winemaker of Col Vetoraz, “so too do we guide our own raw material, vintage after vintage, from vineyard to glass. We do so with dedication, attention, and deep listening—a constant act of honoring our roots. Only in this way can wine embody the harmony, balance, and elegance that make the experience truly unique.”
We warmly invite you to discover this moving visual and tasting journey—an unforgettable immersion into distinct expressions of excellence: the UNESCO-recognized Valdobbiadene DOCG territory, Col Vetoraz’s sparkling wines, and the creations of Arianna Gasperina.
