We are in a chosen land of inestimable value, recognized as a UNESCO heritage, and here Col Vetoraz is located at the highest point, 400 meters above sea level, in the enchanting scenery of the famous Cartizze hills.
In our equipped tasting room, a multilingual staff adequately trained in hospitality is ready to welcome you for a unique and unmissable sensory journey, which involves smell and taste, but also offers unforgettable visual emotions thanks to a breathtaking panoramic terrace overlooking in the distance on the vineyards sloping down to the valley. Are you looking for a total immersion between earth and sky? We propose a path that takes you through breathtaking views, dotted with small and large art treasures.
The suggested itinerary starts from the heart of Valdobbiadene, Piazza Marconi, with a visit to the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, where visitors can admire precious works of art created by Francesco Beccaruzzi, Paris Bordon and Palma il Giovane. Externally stands the bulk of the bell tower designed by Francesco Maria Preti and decorated with a beautiful sundial. Continuing along via Piva you will find Villa dei Cedri, a former nineteenth-century factory surrounded by a large park open to the public. Proceeding through Strada Cordana, after a brief stop at the wash house and at the wayside shrine dedicated to San Venanzio Fortunato, you reach the small church of San Floriano surrounded by lush vineyards, which offers an amazing view of the valley below. Going down, you will come across the ancient hamlet of Ron with its welcoming courtyards and the old fountain. The route ends by going down again to Piazza Marconi.
