The 2025 harvest at Col Vetoraz, a centuries-old tradition carried out exclusively by hand, follows a staggered schedule dictated by the varying locations of the vineyards, reaching its peak in the third week of September. Each year, the estate gathers approximately 2.3 million kilograms of grapes from 170 hectares of vineyards, including both directly owned land and trusted partner growers: 72 carefully selected and long-standing winegrowers.
The harvest, strictly manual, is entrusted to skilled operators, each capable of picking 900–1,000 kilograms of grapes per day. To complete the harvest in just 13 days, around 180 people will be involved.
Weather conditions recorded so far are promising: the grape variety cultivated by Col Vetoraz thrives with well-distributed rainfall, moderate sun exposure, mild daytime temperatures, and cool nights. All these factors have aligned perfectly this year, suggesting an outstanding vintage. Ready to taste it?
