Passing the baton for Col Vetoraz’s “Terra d’Arte” initiative, which combines wine and art by igniting a virtuous dialogue between excellences.
Until November, a new exhibition is ready to be admired in the spaces of the Reception Hall: these are the sculpture installations by Elena Ortica, an artist of Milanese origin but based in Treviso, where she now lives and works.
Four works are featured: for the series dedicated to the female condition, two sculptures entitled “Adolescence” and “Motherhood,” while for the series dedicated to dancers there are the two bronzes “Bowing” and “Male Figure.“
Nettle’s figurative language takes life from form, searches for an inner essence that goes beyond the shell to reach the soul and experience of expressions, to return the deepest sense of the person. Contradictions, limitations and aspirations emerge in a highly communicative language that creates an immediate connection with the visitor looking at his works.
The closeness and correspondence between a work of art and wine is very close and tangible because the starting point is shared: the raw material. “As an artist knows and respects the starting material that he molds to express himself,” explains Loris Dall’Acqua a.d. and oenologist of Col Vetoraz – so we, season after season follow with love, care and listening the evolution of our raw material, from the earth to the glass, with a constant act of defense of our origins. Only in this way does the wine we obtain have within it that harmony, balance and elegance that are the key to its pleasantness.”
