A perfect fusion of wine and art: this is the essence of Terra d’Arte, the initiative by Col Vetoraz that, now in its fourth year, continues to captivate and receive acclaim from the public. Until July, the winery’s Welcome Room will host a new exhibition, this time dedicated to the sculptures of the bellunese artist Beppino Lorenzet.
His works, narrating stories of life and memory, focus on human figures, predominantly female, and are rich in references to rural traditions. Details such as frayed ropes, old nails, crumbling walls, and patched-up cracks intertwine with the play of light and shadow, giving life to sculptures that range from soft lines to more severe forms.
On display are three female-themed sculptures:
- Anna, a full-length figure in Swiss pine wood (140 cm)
- Cristina, a walnut wood bust (120 cm) painted to resemble iron
- Laura, a reclining figure in lime wood (220 cm)
Each of these sculptures was crafted using real models.
