Terra d’Arte continues: the project conceived by Col Vetoraz and launched in 2022 to create an ever-closer dialogue between the world of wine and the world of art.
Throughout the summer season, the initiative continues to offer visitors an experience that celebrates the encounter between different forms of excellence, bringing together the creativity of local artists, the identity of Valdobbiadene DOCG and the hospitality experience in the winery.
Until the end of October, the Col Vetoraz reception room hosts the works of Belluno-born sculptor Beppino Lorenzet. His artistic research focuses mainly on the human figure, both male and female, often combined with details that recall memories of rural childhood.
The sculptures on display, made from Swiss pine and linden wood, explore different themes, all united by strong narrative intensity. Among the works presented, Topolini recalls a childhood legend linked to the loss of baby teeth; Muro invites reflection on the wounds of our time and on the theme of war; Donna delicately addresses the fragility of eating disorders; Pugili draws inspiration from an episode in the history of boxing. The exhibition also includes Vescovo, a refined miniature created as a tribute to the clergy and Pallone, made from linden wood to celebrate the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
A self-taught artist, a former Alpino and an athlete with experience in mountain walking competitions, Beppino Lorenzet began his artistic career in 1980, attending sculpture courses and refining his technique in woodworking and wood carving. Over the years, he has taken part in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad, bringing his artistic research to countries including Brazil, the United States, Sweden, Finland, Germany and Japan.
“Terra d’Arte was born from the desire to offer our guests an experience that goes beyond tasting and tells the story of the territory through different yet complementary languages,” says Francesca Miotto, Communications and Events Manager at Col Vetoraz. “Beppino Lorenzet’s works interpret values such as memory, identity and authenticity, the same values that guide our work every day in the vineyard and in the winery. Welcoming artists who know how to transform matter into emotion means creating new opportunities for encounter and contributing to the enhancement of the cultural and human heritage of our territory.”
The exhibition enriches the winery experience at the highest point of the Cartizze area, where the Col Vetoraz reception room opens onto the hills of Valdobbiadene. It is an invitation to discover the territory through wine, art and hospitality, guided by the dialogue between Col Vetoraz sparkling wines, the landscape of Valdobbiadene DOCG and Beppino Lorenzet’s wooden creations.
