The journey of Terra d’Arte continues — the Col Vetoraz project that intertwines the language of wine with that of creativity. The new chapter welcomes the works of young sculptor Pietro Colmellere from Treviso, who brings his “stories of wood and chisels” into the winery, transforming its spaces into a poetic dialogue between material, landscape, and inspiration.
For four months, starting in November, the tasting room will host the wooden installations Afra, Fanny, and Aspettando l’Alba (“Waiting for Dawn”) — three female figures that embody emotions suspended between strength and delicacy. From the meditative stillness of Afra, carved in national walnut with touches of gold and white acrylic, to the intimate grace of Fanny, sculpted in chestnut, and the luminous tension of Aspettando l’Alba, in red spruce — each piece tells a fragment of life and feeling through the living soul of wood.
Originally from Combai, a small village nestled among the forests of the Treviso hills, Colmellere has made wood his expressive language. His works evoke the grain of the earth and the scent of the woods, reflecting a deep bond with his roots and the traditions of the land. In the heart of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene hills, art once again meets wine, offering visitors an experience where aesthetics and taste merge in perfect harmony.
