The “Terra d’Arte” project by Col Vetoraz reaches its fifth edition, confirming the unbreakable bond between wine, territory, and culture. For the next four months, our tasting room—overlooking the outstanding panorama of Valdobbiadene—will host six installations by the Belluno-born sculptor Raul Barattin.
The works, created in wood and resin, offer a sensory experience that combines the depth of the artistic message with the beauty of the landscape that unfolds from our terrace, inviting visitors into an intimate dialogue between material and nature.
The exhibition transforms the space of our Welcome Room into a contemporary narrative. Barattin—an architect and sculptor born in 1970—uses Swiss pine, linden wood, and polychrome resins to explore the evolution of the human figure. Among the works on display are “Hurraya,” a silent cry against violence toward women, and “On the Living Skin,” where the wooden surface becomes a metaphor for life paths eroded by time.
“My research explores the relationship between existence and form,” explains the artist. From the introspective reflections of “Reflection” to the dynamic tension of “Ardere d’amore,” each sculpture engages in dialogue with the energy of our wines in a unique harmony.
The visit thus becomes a special opportunity to pair the excellence of Valdobbiadene DOCG wines from Col Vetoraz with a powerful and contemporary aesthetic, immersed in the breathtaking panorama of the hills of Valdobbiadene.
