Col Vetoraz, a certified wine tourism of excellence
There is a close link between the excellence of our Valdobbiadene DOCG's and the territory: it is a common thread that originates from the land and is appreciated all over the world, to return back to these prestigious hills in terms of awards. In this rewarding season for wine tourism, it is a further pleasure to stop in the cellars whose quality is recognized on many prestigious national and international scenarios.
This is demonstrated by the unstoppable conquest of the podium in the most important wine competitions, including international ones, as well as by notable scores assigned to our sparkling wines by the wine sector publications.
At the 8th Gold Band Wine Competition, organized by the Primavera del Prosecco, a Silver Band has been assigned to the Valdobbiadene DOCG Superiore di Cartizze 2021 and the Bronze Band to the Valdobbiadene DOCG Millesimato Dry 2021.
On the international scene, the Texsom International Wine Awards, one of the most important US wine competitions, assigns two Silver Medals respectively to Valdobbiadene DOCG Brut 2021 and Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze DOCG 2021.
At the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles we received a Gold Medal for the Valdobbiadene DOCG Brut 2021 and a Silver Medal for the Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Brut Cuvée 5 2021. Two Silver Medals at the Sommeliers Choice Awards 2022 awarded to the Valdobbiadene DOCG Brut 2021 and to the Valdobbiadene Superiore di Cartizze DOCG 2021. Finally, the Brut Rosa Dodici Lune 2020 gets 91 points at the Falstaff Rosè Trophy 2022.
