Col Vetoraz reflects over its budget excellent numbers

At Col Vetoraz it’s time to take ... sparkling financial statement! Just after the new year’s starting, for the company it is time to reflect on 2016 encouraging growth, as well as its natural evolution, marked by respectable numbers. Col Vetoraz activity is in fact characterized by numbers of excellence: the quantity of DOCG grapes reaches 2.198 million kg, from which are selected 1.000 milllion lt which allow the production of 1.2 million bottles per year, which means a business budget that today reaches 9.5 million euros.

The grapes comes all from the hilly foothills located between Valdobbiadene and Rolle, the most suited area for the heroic cultivation of Glera, where the harvest is strictly made by hand. 20 hectares of property plus the grapes coming from 65 selected wine growers who have joined a program coordinated by Paolo De Bortoli, Col Vetoraz partner and agronomist, and have attended four business training sessions throughout the year.

A sales network that relies on a team of 70 agents and provides an important presence on the national market, while the export, constantly growing, is mainly concentrated in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the UK for Europe, while the USA, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and Shanghai for the extra Europe.

The aim of the entire corporate philosophy is to follow a method starting first by the respect for the perfection of nature, preserving the expressive integrity of the starting fruit using the best technology so as not take away or add anything what nature already offers through the bunch; according to Col Vetoraz philosophy, this is the only way to get the balance and the natural harmonies given by the grapevine.
