Choosing Col Vetoraz means committing to a better world

One of the pillars of Col Vetoraz philosophy has always be the strong territorial identity. A path made of demanding choices, even against the current, where quality has always been an inspiration, where excellence always and only comes through ethical and sustainable behavior.

That's why our cellar retains part of the wooded property and eliminates 465 tons of CO2 per year from the atmosphere. This means protecting both physical and moral roots, but also exploiting tenacity and passion to give a better future to all humanity.

In the area of the 15 municipalities of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG denomination, it is estimated that over 40% is occupied by wooded land. Specifically, the Col Vetoraz property is conserving 25 hectares of woodland and 6 hectares of meadow area. One hectare of forest is able to remove about 15 tons of CO2 from the atmosphere per year. Considering that all production and domestic activities in Italy produce about 5 tons of CO2 per capita per year, we can attest the absorption of harmful emissions is equal to the quantity produced annually by around 85 inhabitants.

Numbers that demonstrate how relevant the space given to the care and defense of the environment is within the company dynamics, an element that today more than ever must become an indispensable habit in everyone's everyday life.
