Col Vetoraz, unstoppable excellence!

This year our winery has collected several awards, here is a roundup of the last ones, as a reward of the high quality and the ability to express the territorial identity: from the guide Vinibuoni d'Italia to Douja D'Or, Col Vetoraz is confirmed as an unstoppable excellence!

The run of Col Vetoraz sparkling wines to the recognition in the wine field it is definitely unstoppable! Here is a new round of national awards. The Vinibuoni d'Italia wine guide awarded the Crown to Valdobbiadene DOCG Superiore di Cartizze 2017. The regional coordinators, mostly trade journalists and sommeliers, have selected 725 finalist wines, in a real journey through the best Italian productions based on wines from native vines, including the section dedicated to classic method sparkling wines. The consumer's orientation, as emerged from the final results, is towards wines and less known areas and the search for an ever more widespread level of excellence. What wines from native vines express is a constantly growing quality, driven also by the will of the markets, both national and international, to reward wines able to express culture and territorial identity.

The 2018 edition of the 46th Douja D'Or National Competition of Asti (Piedmont), organized by the Onav, has selected for the eponymous award consisting of medal and diploma, the Valdobbiadene DOCG Millesimato dry 2017 and the Valdobbiadene DOCG Superiore of Cartizze dry 2017. This year 320 producers presented 864 wines. The selection was particularly strict, following which 283 wines were presented, representing 175 companies and which showed an increase in the quality level, a clear sign of the producers great commitment towards this objective.

Each of these acknowledgments bears in itself a confirmation and a new step in the evolution of Col Vetoraz, a wine company led by Francesco Miotto, Loris Dall'Acqua and Paolo De Bortoli, who proudly maintains the role of a qualitative reference reality within the Valdobbiadene DOCG area, and whose sparkling wines can prove to be authentic interpreters of uniqueness and deep identity with the territory of origin.
