Our two new Valdobbiadene Docg’s continue to amaze! The Cuvée 5 extra brut, and the Cuvée 13 extra dry since the 2019 harvest have been added to Col Vetoraz sparkling wines range.
After 25 years of activity, Col Vetoraz has authoritatively chosen the most suitable vines to make these two wines, great interpreters of excellence in the glass: 5 vines for the Cuvée 5, 13 vines for the Cuvée 13. Each of these grapes has specific peculiarities, they were vinified separately, and only subsequently joined to obtain a whole of deep thickness from which the two cuvées were then created.
From this choice we realized we could produce an extra brut Valdobbiadene Docg, Cuvèe 5, with round expressions and a sugar residual equal to 5 gr/liter and an extra dry Valdobbiadene Docg, Cuvée 13, with dry lines and a higher sugar residual. The two wines fully respect the distinctive features of Col Vetoraz’s productions: balance, harmony and elegance but at the same time they show a great transversality.
