Before diving into the harvest period, we share with you some of our considerations on 2021 vintage performance.
An exceptional selection from our Press Review for a great summer reading. On the blog www.alta-fedelta.info, a surprising review (for us, but also for its author the italian journalist Stefano Tesi) is a Col Vetoraz Valdobbiadene Docg brut dating back to 2010.
Flowering in Col Vetoraz vineyards has been now completed. Thanks to a perfect weather, the plants are in perfect balance during this period. A photograph of the current status of the art which shows only a slight time delay compared to past years.
Knowing the Valdobbiadene Docg and the excellences of the territory for Col Vetoraz means choosing a perspective of pure excellence, considering that the wine company is located in the most prestigious place of the entire area: the Cartizze cru.
The two new Valdobbiadene Docg continue to amaze! The Cuvée 5 extra brut, and the Cuvée 13 extra dry since the 2019 harvest have been added to Col Vetoraz sparkling wines range.
On the hills of Valdobbiadene DOCG, the spring season celebrate the supremacy of greenery: a trend that also conquers the tables, with recipes based on spontaneous herbs. The imagination flies towards excellent combinations in dishes that can best express the freshness of the period, to be paired with our Valdobbiadene DOCG. We thus propose two recipes created for us by chef Stefano Vocaturo (www.stefanovocaturo.it), which go best with our wines. Let yourself be conquered by dishes such as Spaghettone with herb cream and Lagoon razor clams to toast with Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Dry Col Vetoraz or the Heart of Cod in cooking oil, almond milk with juniper, colored Chard to accompany our Valdobbiadene DOCG Brut.
Ancient gestures and family care, in the name of a strong and unique symbiosis with the Valdobbiadene DOCG: this is what the evolution of Col Vetoraz speaks of over time, in a precious bond with the terroir, where roots and future together.
An overview that opens up, not only physically thanks to our terrace overlooking the hills, nor only meteorologically due to the approaching of the summer season; at Col Vetoraz the horizon is di-wine because it marks a point towards positivity, it reminds us that with discipline and constancy we all will be able to return back to a new normal.
In winter Col Vetoraz celebrates the time of rest, necessary for the soil to prepare for spring awakening.
Christmas season this year will undoubtedly assume different tones, but this won’t be without excellence, to celebrate the value and strength of the family: this is Col Vetoraz promise for Christmas 2020. A tradition which this year will not be as sparkling as usual, but will anyway aim to bring, at least for a few days, a hint of serenity to Italian families.
