Coste di Levante, di Ponente and di Mezzodì are the evocative names of our new sparkling wines, to tell all the uniqueness and excellence of the land from which they come, a heritage of humanity to be discovered even in winter time.
This year the season running up to Christmas promises to be full of great news for Col Vetoraz! On holiday tables and under the Christmas tree, in fact, we are offering three new Valdobbiadene DOCG’s with evocative names, as a tribute to the wonderful hills from which they come.
Valdobbiadene DOCG Brut Coste di Levante, Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Dry Coste di Ponente and Valdobbiadene DOCG Millesimato Dry Coste di Mezzodì are the result of a careful selection of grapes from what are known here as the ‘coasts’, i.e. from the steeply hillsides exposed to the slopes to which they refer to.
“The Valdobbiadene DOCG Col Vetoraz wines,” explains the managing director and oenologist Loris Dall’Acqua, “are brothers of the same Mother Earth, that of hilly piedmont system that runs east-west, parallel to Monte Cesen, ideal for conferring a good acidity and aromatic profile.
All made from 100% Glera grapes, these three sparkling wines are able to fully interpret the key words that have always defined Col Vetoraz sparkling wines: balance, harmony and elegance. Discover them in our Welcome Room and, to better organise your visit, send an email to accoglienza@colvetoraz.it We look forward to seeing you!
